| The design, supply and technical build of a turnkey radio station for Al Mirbad Radio, Basra.
The complete radio station was designed, and technically constructed in one of our workshops in Kingham, Oxfordshire. This included the supply and installation of all necessary technical equipment together with the design and manufacture of custom made furniture.
Once the work was completed BBC Staff along with Al Mirbad Radio technicians arrived in Kingham for training before the station was dismantled, packed into crates and shipped to Iraq.
Al Mirbad is the BBC World Service Trust’s biggest project to date and on Monday 20th June 2005 the station went live and launched its regional programme services.
